A 3D Digital Future Mapped Out

3D projection is any method of mapping three-dimensional points to a two-dimensional plane. It is put to good use by big brands using this projection mapping technique.

Along with the increasing use of other forms of Augmented Reality such as gestural interaction, we can expect to see these digital projection techniques more often in the future.

Here some mind-blowing examples:

Bombay Sapphire

Red Bull Off The Planet

Hyundai Accent

Johny Walker

and finally a virtual fashion show projected by Ralph Lauren as they transform their London flagship at 1 New Bond Street.
